LOAN DETAILS:
Name: Rit Soba
Location: Cambodia
Business: food production/sales
Loan For: purchase a second-hand motorcycle to use for her chicken sales

FROM THE LOAN APP: Mrs. Rit Soba, 21, sells chickens that she buys from families in her village and resells for a profit. She has been selling chickens since 2005 and makes around $5 per day. Her husband, Mr. Tin Ten, 21, is a farmer who earns around $4 per day. They live with their one child in Kampong Thom Province. Because of the difficulty to transport chickens for sale, Soba is requesting a loan of US$ 500 to purchase a second-hand motorcycle to use for her chicken business. The loan will allow her to improve her business and increase the family’s income.
