MORE DUCKS FOR YONG

Yong Oeng of Cambodia has just repaid our loan, and now has more ducks for his poultry business.

From his application:
Yong Oeng, 40, is married and lives with her three children in Phnom Penh. She is a chef in a restaurant, making around US$6 each day. Her husband (pictured above) has a business of raising ducks for eggs, and normally he sells the eggs to the market and can generate about US$4 of income each day. Yong Oeng applied for a loan to purchase more ducks for her husband to breed. She feels that this will be a sustainable investment that will keep profits high and generate more income for her family.
